Jamaican food works well for groups. The dishes hold up, the flavors are bold, and there's something for everyone at the table. We've catered for Baylor departments, businesses, churches, and families across Central Texas.
Events we cater
- Campus events: departmental lunches, student organizations, receptions, and athletics.
- Corporate: team lunches, meetings, and holiday parties.
- Churches and nonprofits: fellowship meals, fundraisers, and community events.
- Celebrations: weddings, graduations, birthdays, family reunions, and memorials.
We also bring the food truck to some events. Ask us whether it's a good fit for yours.
Building a menu
A balanced Jamaican spread usually includes:
- A main or two. Jerk chicken and curry chicken are the most popular for groups. Oxtail and curry goat make it feel special.
- Rice and peas.
- Sweet plantains.
- Steamed vegetables, which also gives vegetable-focused guests a solid option.
- Drinks, such as sorrel and ginger or pineapple and ginger.
Rasta pasta is a good crowd-pleaser for mixed groups and guests who prefer milder food.
