Tru Jamaica Restaurant (“Tru Jamaica,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operated by Venjam LLC, respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through trujamaica.com, how we use it, and your choices. We’ve kept it short and plain because our data practices are simple.

We’re a family-owned restaurant, not a data company. We don’t sell your information, we don’t run ad-tracking on this site, and we only use what you send us to reply to you and serve you.

When you contact us through a form. Our catering, contact, commissary, and similar forms open a message in your own email app that you then send to us. When you do, we receive whatever you chose to include — typically your name, email address, phone number, and the details of your request. We only get this if you actually press send in your email app.

When you order online. Online ordering and payment are handled by Square on their own site (trujamaica.square.site), not on trujamaica.com. Any payment or order information you enter there is collected and processed by Square under Square’s privacy policy. We never see or store your full card details.

Automatically. Like most websites, our web host may keep basic technical logs (such as the type of device or browser making a request) for security and reliability. We do not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this site. The children’s coloring pages work entirely in your browser and send nothing to us.

How we use your information

We use the information you send us only to:

• Respond to your questions, catering requests, and other inquiries;
• Provide the food, catering, or services you ask for;
• Keep our website secure and working.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.

Who we share it with

We share information only where needed to run the business — for example, Square for orders and payments, and the email provider that carries the message you send us. These providers handle your information under their own privacy policies. We may also disclose information if required by law.

We keep inquiry emails and order records only as long as needed to serve you and for normal business record-keeping, then dispose of them.

Children’s privacy

Our site includes free coloring pages for kids, but it is not directed at collecting information from children. The coloring activity runs entirely on your device and collects nothing. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your choices

You can always contact us instead of using a form — just call or email. If you’ve sent us information and would like us to update or delete what we have, contact us using the details below and we’ll take care of it.
